arete Australia was engaged to deliver the Craigieburn Community Hospital Stage 2 internal refurbishment for the Victorian Health Building Authority, expanding the existing Northern Health Craigieburn Centre to support the region’s growing healthcare needs.
Stage 2 involved targeted refurbishment works within the existing health facility, delivered alongside the main development. Undertaken within a live healthcare environment, the project required careful staging, close stakeholder coordination and proactive risk management to minimise disruption to ongoing operations.
The completed works expand the functionality and capacity of the existing site, introducing new refurbished areas, and telehealth offices, easing pressure on surrounding hospitals such as the Northern Hospital in Epping.
